Each piece is created with my (Sabrina's) hands in my Toronto studio. Items not on hand at the time of order will ship in approximately 4-8 weeks from the order date. **International orders typically require 2-14 business days in transit. All orders are sent with a FEDEX or CANADA POST tracking number.
***Please note; if you make any changes to your delivery, such as releasing the item without a signature, the insurance is void and you will not be refunded if the package is lost or stolen. If you are not home to receive the package it will be held at your closest Fedex distribution center. If the package is not picked up by the recipient it will be returned to Janine de Dorigny and you will be refunded, less the cost of shipping. If the package is lost during delivery, at the fault of the courier service, you will be refunded for the item.
We are not responsible for any delays that may occur during shipping and urge you to track your package using the tracking ID provided prior to emailing our customer service. Refunds or discounts will not be issued because of delayed shipments. If you are concerned about the timely arrival of your package please contact us prior to making your purchase.
Customs / Import Taxes
Janine de Dorigny is not responsible for any duties, taxes, or import fees that may be levied at the border of your home country, this is your obligation. We have no control over what packages are held at the border. Customs agents typically notify both senders and recipients when packages are held for outstanding duties. Should this happen and we are notified, we will make all reasonable attempts to let you know. However it is not our responsibility to ensure that you pay duties to have your packaged released.
If an item needs to be returned for any reason, all shipping fees related to the returned item are the customer’s responsibility.
- Keep all shipping labels, waybills and commercial invoices associated with your purchase incase you need to return anything to us for any reason. No exceptions.
We allow 24 hours to cancel your order in order to obtain full refund. Otherwise a credit note will be issued for the value of your order. Any questions or concerns can be emailed to email@example.com
Returns & Exchanges
As my work is all handmade I offer exchanges or store credit only, I do not provide full refunds.
I want you to be thrilled with your purchase however, if an exchange is necessary, I am happy to accept most items for exchange or store credit within 10 days. All returned items must be in original condition.
To make an exchange for purchases made online, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for a return authorization number. Please know I will not accept any returns without this number.
All sale items are final sale.
Custom orders, orders that accommodate any variations or changes (including sizings) are non-refundable and all sales are final.
Warranty / Guarantee
Each & every piece is made with care using the finest materials and inspected to be free from known defects. I offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. In order to determine a manufacturing defect, I will have to inspect your piece. If another jeweller works on your Janine de Dorigny Jewellery our warranty is void.
I do not warranty stone damage, breakage or loss. I suggest you insure your jewellery against loss, damage and theft. *Proof of purchase must accompany items being returned for Warranty work.
